Glory fashion and accessories started on 11/11/2011.This was after being employed in several companies and felt the effort we put in did not match the returns we were getting. Eventually we decided to try our hand in business, with 3,000 shillings we bought our first bunch of ladies’ vests and started selling and delivering them personally in offices.
We started putting up photos of the products on Facebook, people would in turn place their orders and later in the afternoon we would deliver them to their offices and homes. After some time we stumbled on a great handbags supplier and that is how we started dealing in handbags.
It was a bit more hectic delivering bags to the offices like it was with the vests. We had also built trust with my clientèle, that they could now pay for the handbags and we would deliver later. Since then, we have seen ourselves grow from a small client base to handling numbers we could hardly have imagined at inception.
We have managed to send bags outside the country, as far as South Africa and Uganda and also in different parts of the country such as Nakuru, Nyeri, Kisumu, Kakamega, Meru, Kisii among others.
Due to the overwhelming success of the business, we decided it was time to give back to the community by establishing the Glory Foundation. Where we team up with our clients and spend our time and resources to help the less fortunate.
